I recommend Mills River Animal Hospital to everyone. They are easy to book with online. They’ve always been on time and Vanna is very comfortable with every staff member, even when they’re taking blood or giving vaccinations. They are so gentle and thoughtful with her. Vanna has been seeing this office since she was 1 year old and she is now 5. So glad they are here!
The entire staff is pleasant and professional. We had an urgent situation with our Bloodhound and they arranged to see us within an hour. They set up a visit for the next day to follow up and the doc texted us the day after that to check on her condition. All information was emailed to us, which simplified the claim process with our insurance company.
I’ve been going to Mills River Animal Clinic for the past 9 1/2 years and have loved Dr. Jennie and now Dr. Elgard… Also, there is a doctor Chaney who is also amazing… All of the staff is so kind and loving and tender with our dogs, and I appreciate that so very much since we have Chihuahuas. I also love Elaine at the front desk. She is always eager to help and do whatever she can to help out in any situation that we have come across with our little dogs.
When our beloved dog took seriously ill at our kennel while we were on vacation, Mills River Animal Clinic took immediate action to get him in. The vet and staff worked closely with the kennel and our neighbors who went to be with him, and they stayed in close touch with us until we could return home 36 hours later. Our dog is going on 14. His illness was related to his senior age. I’m happy to report that due to all parties jumping in to quickly treat him, he is now back to good health!
This place is great. So passionate, and they care for your pet as if it were their own. Even called a couple of days later to check on my pet. Thank you, Dr. Lorch and staff.
The team at Mills River Animal Clinic always does a good job of taking care of my boys. Took us a while to find a vet we could trust in the area and we are all happy with this team!
Always great care! Very easy to book appointments, and I like that they go over cost before treatment. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.
I had a small emergency with Romeo. I was able to go online on Sunday and schedule the appointment for first thing Monday morning. I am very happy with this clinic. they obviously love the animals.
